Aboveground Rainwater Storage Solutions
The range of TitanAqua aboveground products includes 6 types of tanks in rectangular shape. Tanks have lids which are secured against unauthorized opening. Each tank has a plastic or metal ¾’’ tap allowing water collection. Material from which the tanks are made is UV-resistant, the tanks are stable.
Easily fitted into a vertical downpipes the rainwater collector diverts rainwater from the guttering into the storage tank until it is filled. The operating rinciple is similar to that of two connected vessels. The overflow height of the tank must exceed its upper edge. When water in the storage tank reaches the overflow height, water intake will stop. The tank is equipped with overflow stop. If the rainwater tank is full, the system will transport excess rainwater into sewers or infiltration system. Prior to winter we recommend that you disconnect the hose between the rainwater collector and the tank and close the outlet of the rainwater collector with sealing cap to prevent rainwater from entering the tank. When winter finishes, take off sealing cap and reconnect rainwater the collector to the tank.
The rainwater collector with coarse filter can be easily installed in downpipes each draining up to 70 sq m of the roof. The filter takes out the coarse materials to ensure that clean water enters the storage tank. It requires regular cleaning to avoid getting impurities into the water tank inlet.
